Preservation New Jersey is pleased to present the Ewing's own jazz alto saxophone legend Richie Cole and his jazz quartet featuring Peter Lauffer, Piano, Frank Cook, Bass, and Dave Mohn, Drums in the intimate space and gorgeous acoustics of the 1867 Sanctuary at Ewing!
A graduate of Ewing High School who grew up in the Ewing Presbyterian Church (and the new 1867 Sanctuary venue), Richie will be reprising parts of his 1996 album, Richie Cole Plays West Side Story, perhaps with a "West Trenton" edge, in the space where he spent his youth. Pianist Peter Lauffer, also internationally acclaimed, is today a frequent performer in the 1867 Sanctuary.
